Android shows a warning when installing the APK. Is it safe?
The warning appears because the app is installed outside Google Play. The file on this page is published directly by Laksana Elang and digitally signed under the package name net.elangapp.phone. Always download from the official laksanaelang.web.id website and choose "Install" when prompted.
Where do I get the Tenant, Extension, and Password?
All three come from the Elang IPPBX administrator at your company. If your company does not use Elang IPPBX yet, contact Laksana Elang.
Do calls still come in when the app is closed?
Yes. ElangPhone runs a background service and starts automatically after the phone restarts. On some phone brands (e.g. Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo), the "Autostart" permission has to be turned on manually in the phone settings.
Does ElangPhone use phone credit?
No. Calls go over the internet (Wi-Fi or mobile data) to the Elang IPPBX server, so they use data, not phone credit.
Can it be used with more than one account?
No. Each phone uses one extension so calls never get mixed up. To switch extensions, contact your Elang IPPBX administrator.
Does updating the app remove my account and contacts?
No. A new version installs directly over the old one; your account, contacts, and call history are kept.
